A shop that runs smoothly

Together with Bikemarketing BMG GmbH, the exclusive importer of MAXXIS bicycle tires in Germany and Austria, we realized the relaunch of a future-proof B2B commerce platform.

The goal was a high-performance, user-friendly shop that not only impresses visually but, above all, optimizes the sales process – with maximum grip from login to checkout.

A stalled shop puts the brakes on business

The previous shop was technically outdated, slow, and did not offer a satisfactory user experience – neither for dealers nor for the internal team. Inflexible structures made custom adjustments difficult, and key functions such as registration or price display were inadequately solved. In short: the system had become a drag on growth and efficiency.

The challenge was to develop a completely new shop that not only impresses functionally and visually, but also meets the specific requirements of specialist retailers – including smart features, high-performance processes, and a solid technical foundation.

Shopware 6 as the solution foundation

With the free open-source version of Shopware, we were able to offer maximum flexibility and performance – without any licensing costs.

Thanks to a modern API architecture, flexible Shopping Experiences, and the ability to extend the platform with custom plugins, the new MAXXIS shop became a future-proof e-commerce platform.

B2B efficiency & brand identity: the design

The shop design conveys MAXXIS's strong brand identity – clear, high-contrast, sporty. The logo's visual language is reflected as a design element throughout the layout, ensuring strong brand recognition.

At the same time, maximum usability was a key focus: custom product tiles enable a quick overview and simplify ordering large quantities.

The responsive UI ensures smooth access – whether at the desk or on the go.

The small details made the difference

Extended Registration

A multi-step registration form with proof of business simplifies the acquisition of new dealers and ensures fast internal approval processes.

Login Check

A mandatory login ensures access is restricted exclusively to registered specialist dealers – ideal for sensitive B2B content.

Freeze Customer Data

For quality assurance: customer data cannot be changed directly in the shop. Changes are made only through customer service – centralized, consistent, secure.

RRP Toggle

A clever feature for brick-and-mortar retail: unit prices can be hidden so that only the RRP remains visible – perfect for point-of-sale use.
