Together with Bikemarketing BMG GmbH, the exclusive importer of MAXXIS bicycle tyres in Germany and Austria, we realised the relaunch of a future-proof B2B commerce platform.The aim was to create a high-performance, user-friendly shop that is not only visually appealing, but above all optimises the sales process - from login to shopping cart.

Stagnant shop slows down business
The previous shop was technically outdated, slow and did not offer a satisfactory user experience - neither for retailers nor for the internal team. Inflexible structures made customisation difficult and central functions such as registration or price display were inadequately solved. In short, the system had become a brake on growth and efficiency.The challenge was to develop a completely new shop that was not only functionally and visually impressive, but also met the specific requirements of specialist retailers - including smart features, high-performance processes and a solid technical basis.
Shopware 6 as the solution basis
With the free open source version of Shopware, we were able to offer maximum flexibility and performance - without any licence costs.Thanks to modern API architecture, flexible worlds of experience and the option to expand with customised plugins, the new MAXXIS shop has become a future-proof e-commerce platform.
B2B efficiency & brand identity: the design
The shop design conveys the strong brand identity of MAXXIS - clear, rich in contrast, sporty. The design language of the logo is reflected as a design element in the layout and ensures a high recognition value.
At the same time, attention was paid to maximising usability: Customised product tiles provide a quick overview and simplify ordering large quantities.The responsive UI ensures smooth access - whether at your desk or on the move.

Advanced registrationA multi-stage registration form with proof of trade simplifies the acquisition of new dealers and ensures fast internal approval processes.
Login CheckA mandatory login secures access exclusively for registered retailers - ideal for sensitive B2B content.
Freeze Customer DataFor quality assurance: Customer data cannot be changed directly in the shop. Changes can only be made via customer service - centralised, consistent, secure.
RRP switchA clever feature for stationary retail: unit prices can be hidden so that only the RRP remains visible - perfect for PoS use.
