It was actually only supposed to be an event page. But then questions arose such as: ‘Can we use it to display other events later on?’ And: ‘Wouldn't it be cool if it could also serve as a complete website?’ Sure. So, together with Bauen + Energie Konzept GmbH, we developed a system that will start out as a platform for the ‘Architecture at the Pulse of Time’ symposium, but is already ready for the next projects. The portal is based on the modular Strapi CMS: modular, flexible and easy to maintain. In the future, additional events, topics or even the entire company presence can be digitally built up without having to start from scratch.

Our collaboration began exactly one year ago - right here at the Eurobike. Our first visit to the RETTmobil 2025 trade fair in Fulda really surprised us! We learnt a lot about current, but also deeply touching developments and topics in the rescue sector. At the same time, we recognised potential in the area of digitalisation. The highlight of our visit was definitely the opportunity to visit our customer DRK-Service GmbH in person at their impressive stand. Together with the team around Tobias Martin, Saskia Dewerner, Jan Fassbender, Alice Hubert and Anita Drost, we have provided real added value for the employees of the many rescue services of the German Red Cross with the launch of the new Red Cross Shop! A project that we support wholeheartedly and with full conviction - for an organisation that saves lives every day. It fills us with pride to be able to make a small contribution. The ISH Frankfurt 2025 has made one thing clear: the industry is moving forward digitally—but with the brakes still on. EUROBIKE Show 2024 shows the next big steps in the bicycle industry! On Thursday we had the pleasure of visiting the Eurobike Show 2024 in Frankfurt. The show was an impressive showcase for the future of e-mobility and the digitalisation of the bike industry. The variety of manufacturers and product groups was really impressive. We found it particularly remarkable how important digital portals have become and how, for example, our composable commerce applications with Shopware are becoming increasingly important. A real highlight was the innovative range control from Bosch and the digital bike management from VELO DE VILLE. These technologies show how the bicycle industry is moving towards greater efficiency and user-friendliness. The bike industry is in the midst of digitalisation - we are excited to see what the future holds and look forward to being a part of this exciting development!
Old buildings and cutting-edge technologies?
We had great impressions at the "Soirée of Ideas", the AI event at Schloss Jägersburg! Three captivating keynotes by Steffen Adler, Marco Falger and Mario Dorsch enriched our knowledge of AI. A big thank you to the entire team from [nure] media, Mario Dorsch and host Stephan Bentzel, Graf von Sturmfeder-Horneck for the perfect organisation and bringing together entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries - from IT experts to road rail welders. This alone emphasises the enormous application potential of AI. Our most important insight: AI can optimise itself, even for the simplest tasks such as writing emails. This means: the next time you want to write an email, simply add the prompt you find in the comments. Try it out! AI is more than just a trend - it's a revolutionary tool that will shape our future. A review of our visit to THE TIRE COLOGNE 2024. The first day of the trade fair was really great and offered us many inspiring discussions and exciting insights into the future of the tyre industry. A special highlight was the visit of our customers, including Falken Tyre Europe GmbH represented by Bettina Feldmann. Our meeting with Chedhly Guermezi from Detection X GmbH, who have developed an innovative app that makes it very easy to recognise tyres, was exciting from a technical point of view: Mobile phone out, upload and the app immediately recognises the taxonomies of the tyre. R+T Stuttgart 2024
This week, Sebastian Schirmer and Felix von Strachwitz were at the R+T, the World's Leading conferences for Roller Shutters, Doors and Sun Protection (R+T Alliance) and immersed themselves in a sea of innovations. Our personal highlight: BOTEVO, a software and hardware solution for the centralised monitoring of various roller shutter types and brands. BOTEVO also received the R + T Innovation Award 2024 for this. In line with our industry insights from the home textiles conference, similar topics were once again at the "digital centre" of our numerous discussions:
  • 3D product configuration with AR functions
  • Supporting functions for specialist retailers
  • Digitalisation as a growth driver

On the road to becoming an IT pro at ZYRES!

Our team at the J.P. Morgan Run Frankfurt !
Our 10 runners completed the 5.6 km course together with 63,000 other participants, achieving 1220th place out of 4103 in the global ranking. A huge thank you to everyone who took part and to those who cheered us on. You made this day so special (despite the rain). What makes us particularly happy is that we are supporting two super important social projects with our entry fees:
  • The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation Germany, Austria, which uses the power of sport to help young people in Germany and Austria in the areas of education, inclusion and health
  • The Deutsche Behindertensportjugend (DBSJ), which supports young people with disabilities by organising sporting or educational activities for them.
The run was not only a sporting activity for us, but also a great team-building event. Together we are strong and have fun - whether in the office or on the running track!

We are rebuilding!
We are in a rebuilding mood and everyone has pitched in! Following our technological conversion to headless commerce and microservices, we are now following up with a New Work modernisation to the delight of our team. We celebrated the launch in September with a demolition party and are now thrilled with what our hard-working craftsmen have already achieved in just a few weeks. We look forward to welcoming you to our new office soon - whether for a meeting or a casual chat. We are all very excited about the final result and will of course share it with you!
The ZYRES Running Team
On 29 October 2023, our "ZYRES Running Team" successfully took part in the relay marathon in Frankfurt Our runners not only demonstrated their physical endurance, but also strengthened our team spirit. We firmly believe that a healthy work-life balance and promoting an active lifestyle are crucial to achieving the best possible results as a team. We look forward to more adventures and challenges in the future. Together we can do anything!

We were at the B2Run in Frankfurt on Tuesday! With our home advantage, our runners successfully mastered the 5.3KM. If ZYRES can contribute to the charitable cause of the DKMS Group with sport and team spirit, we will be there again next year.
